Biography description
Kate Howard is an experienced Law Clerk whose primary focus is Estate Administration. She assists with preparation of Applications for Certificates of Appointment, administration of Estates, Estate Accountings and facilitating distributions to beneficiaries. In the course of her career to date, she has assisted with administration of complex Estates from start to finish. Kate’s expertise in Estate Administration matters combined with a compassionate and empathetic approach aims to put clients at ease as they navigate administering a loved one’s Estate.
Kate has been a licensed Paralegal and member of the Law Society of Ontario since 2015. Having worked previously at law firms in Burlington and Waterloo, she has become well versed in the complexities of Estate Administration. Beyond assisting clients with administrative needs, Kate has assisted with in-house Estate Administration for a number of complex Estates. She constantly strives to gain knowledge in other areas of law that intersect with Estate Administration, in particular, Tax, Real Estate and Corporate Law.
Kate likes to stay active and is involved in a variety of team sports in the community.
