Biography description

Kimmy earned her law degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Throughout law school, Kimmy volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), where she developed Family Law resource guides for a community organization in the Lower Mainland. She also served as a Student Clinician with the UBC Innocence Project, working on claims of wrongful conviction under the supervision of practising lawyers. Additionally, Kimmy was the Vice President of External Relations for the Allard South Asian Law Students’ Association.

Prior to law school, Kimmy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with Distinction) from UBC and worked as a constituency advisor for the MLA representing Vancouver-Fraserview. In her role, she managed a broad range of constituency casework, liaised with government ministries and community organizations, and advocated on behalf of constituents.

Outside of work, Kimmy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, and travelling as much as she can.
