Calgary

Advising one of Canada’s leading business centres

One of Canada’s leading business centres, Calgary is the largest city in Alberta. As the head office for many major oil and gas-related companies, Calgary is home to some of Canada’s leading companies, financial institutions and entrepreneurs. Calgary’s economic activity is largely centered on the petroleum and energy industries, though agriculture, information and communication technology, transportation and distribution logistics, financial and health services are also contributing significantly to the city's rapid growth.

Acting for public and private entities, our lawyers provide advice and representation to a broad client base in most areas of law and industry sectors. With nearly 50 lawyers, we provide clients the specific expertise they require. We take pride in our client-driven approach, and the quality and value of the legal solutions delivered.

Our Calgary office reputation is built upon the significant experience and strengths of the core Business Law and Litigation Groups. We offer in-depth expertise in business transactions, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, tax, banking and financial services, real property, employment and immigration services and all facets of litigation and dispute resolution.

Many of the firm's lawyers have been awarded the highly respected Queen's Counsel designation by the Province of Alberta, and several lawyers have earned AV ratings in Martindale-Hubbell’s annual peer review rankings.
