Adam Thompson is an Associate Counsel with Miller Thomson’s Vancouver office. He specializes in the handling of commercial real estate, joint venture and financial transactions, with experience in guiding a project from conception, acquisition, financing, entitlement, ground-up construction, stabilization and eventual disposition.
In recent years, Adam has provided counsel on multiple projects involving municipal or other governmental partners, with an emphasis on the creation and rehabilitation of non-profit and affordable housing developments, as well as the restoration and preservation of historical buildings.
Adam is also licensed to practice law in California, where he practiced from 2007 until joining Miller Thomson in 2020. For six consecutive years, from 2015 to 2020, he was honoured by Thomson Reuters as a Northern California Super Lawyer “Rising Star.”
