Biography description

Victoria is an agile lawyer with well-established expertise in health, business, and public law, having a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Victoria leverages her healthcare and business law expertise to provide bespoke health, administrative, and commercial litigation as well as regulatory advice for health industry and commercial clients.

Victoria graduated law school with distinction and was awarded the Thomas Burchell Memorial Good Citizen Prize in Law. Her commitment to public law advocacy led her success as a finalist at the 2023 Kawaskimhon Aboriginal Law Moot. She also served as President of the Dalhousie Public Policy and Law Society for two consecutive terms.

Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Victoria acted as legal counsel for an Ontario hospital and articled with a national firm. She is an active member of the Ontario healthcare system, currently serving as a Board Member of the Mount Sinai Research Ethics Board and is the Chair of NCD Child, a global healthcare consortium. Before law, she spent several years coordinating provincial cancer screening policy for Cancer Care Ontario.
