Macy Brogden

Biography description

Macy is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Saskatchewan. She is actively involved in the law school community and is a member of the Law Students’ Association, Women in Law Club, Chess Club, and the Legal Eagles Volleyball team. Macy also volunteers as a practice opponent for upper‑year moots.

Prior to attending law school, Macy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with Distinction) and a Certificate in Law and Society from the University of Regina. Following her undergraduate studies, Macy worked as a Legal Assistant with Public Prosecutions for one term. She later spent time backpacking through Australia and living in Melbourne before returning to Canada to begin law school.

Outside of school, Macy enjoys participating in recreational sports such as basketball, handball, and pickleball. She also enjoys playing chess with friends, exploring new cafés and restaurants, and reading science fiction.
