Sam is a litigator with a broad range of litigation experience gained over 20 years of representing clients involved in contractual disputes, shareholder disagreements, and construction lien matters. Sam also has an active tax litigation practice, representing corporations, individual tax payers and corporate officers and directors facing claims of negligence and alleged wrongdoing.
Sam has devoted his career to advocating for his clients and defending their interests before the Ontario Courts. He understands that clients require responsive solutions and effective strategies to explore early and cost effective resolutions of a dispute whenever possible. However, experience has taught him that not all disputes can be easily or quickly resolved, particularly when passions run high and former business partners or competitors let their emotions govern their actions. When facing situations of this nature, clients value and depend on Sam’s confidence, instincts and judgment. Sam’s approach to litigation has made him a trusted advisor to a devoted network of clients and referral sources who will seek his counsel and advice at the earliest stages of a dispute or disagreement.
