With a background as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Andra brings a unique clinical perspective to her legal practice, enhancing her understanding of healthcare operations and the challenges faced by healthcare professionals and organizations.

Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Andra gained significant experience at a leading global firm, where she honed her skills in intellectual property and regulatory compliance, particularly within the life sciences sector. She also worked at a top-ranked pediatric hospital, where she advised leadership on strategic and operational risks, collaborated with in-house counsel and procurement teams on contract drafting and negotiation, and supported corporate initiatives. In this role, she was actively involved in matters related to technology, privacy, and AI, advising on digital health initiatives and compliance frameworks for emerging healthcare technologies.

Andra also has a strong interest and experience in technology, privacy, and AI, particularly in healthcare. She has contributed to industry publications, conferences, and presentations on these topics, providing insights into the evolving legal and regulatory landscape of digital health and AI-driven innovations.
