Rick Del Vecchio, Managing Partner of the Vaughan office and Co-lead of the Construction Litigation group, is a passionate legal professional with a focus on construction and commercial litigation. He is recognized for his deep experience across various courts and has an interest in construction-related claims, real estate disputes, debt-recovery, and contractual issues. Rick guides clients through construction liens, breach of contract claims, warranty disputes, negligence claims, and more, handling all aspects from traditional litigation to settlement negotiations and arbitrations.
Rick has a vast portfolio of construction law publications and presentations, delving into crucial legal topics and constantly contributing valuable insights to the legal community, making him a go-to resource for legal advice and representation. He has been recognized in prestigious publications such as Benchmark Canada and The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, showcasing his dedication and excellence in the legal field.
Outside of the courtroom, he has been deeply involved in the community with the Vaughan YMCA as a board member. Rick is also actively involved with organizations like the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association, and The Advocates’ Society.
