Biography description

Wura Dasylva is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Group at Miller Thomson where she advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. She helps businesses structure and negotiate purchase and sale transactions and navigate complex commercial arrangements. Her practice also includes acting for financial institutions, private lenders, and corporate borrowers on regulatory compliance, loan documentation, and financing solutions for acquisitions, expansions, and projects.

Wura’s experience spans diverse industries, including banking and financial services, real estate, agribusiness, automotive, retail, and hospitality. Before joining Miller Thomson, she practiced at a leading national firm in Nigeria. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Ibadan and an LL.M. from the University of Manitoba, where she earned the Manitoba Graduate Scholarship and the David T. Sgayias Graduate Fellowship.
