Biography description

Shahed is building her practice with a focus on restructuring and insolvency. She works diligently and collaboratively to research and seek solutions for a variety of legal issues.

Shahed joins the firm as an associate after completing her summer and articling term with Miller Thomson in 2024 and 2025/2026.

Shahed previously had a career as a court reporter, which instilled in her a strong sense of discretion and care in handling all client matters. She is dedicted to professional development and is a member of several legal associations.

During law school, Shahed volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada on two disability law projects and participated as a student case worker with Western’s Community Legal Services clinic.
