Biography description
Jason maintains a corporate and securities law practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity and debt financings, capital markets transactions, corporate finance, shareholder activism and corporate governance matters. He advises public and private companies, issuers, underwriters and agents on a range of corporate and securities matters. His transactional experience includes share and asset acquisitions, plans of arrangement, take-over bids, amalgamations and complex corporate reorganizations, as well as public and private equity and debt offerings, cross-border financings and private placements. Jason also advises clients on corporate governance, continuous disclosure requirements, regulatory compliance and other corporate and securities law matters.
Jason has significant experience acting on both public and private mergers and acquisitions and on equity and debt financings, including transactions with cross-border considerations.
Jason is involved with an internationally focused Calgary startup organization that educates, inspires and connects entrepreneurs across its international chapters. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Culinary Championships, supporting the celebration and advance of Canadian culinary excellence.
