Gavin focuses on advancing his clients’ business objectives through a practical approach to corporate and transactional matters. He advises companies ranging from closely held family enterprises to multinational organizations on acquisitions, divestitures, and financing transactions. Drawing on extensive experience in deal structuring and negotiation, he helps clients manage risk, allocate liability, and complete transactions efficiently. Gavin’s work spans multiple industries, with particular experience in aviation and commercial real estate. Whether facilitating the sale of aircraft and other assets or guiding a business acquisition, he ensures each matter supports his clients’ broader commercial strategies and operational goals.

Gavin has guided clients through complex domestic and cross-border transactions, providing strategic advice on deal structure and execution. His work is recognized for its practical focus, efficient outcomes, and alignment with each client’s business objectives.

Gavin is the past chair of the CBA (Northern Alberta) Business Law Section and a member of the Canadian Business Aviation Association (Northern Alberta). He is also the current chair of the Zebra Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, an organization that allows youth and children to regain their voice after experiencing trauma, and supports the missions of its liaison partners the RCMP, Edmonton Police, Child and Family Services, and the Crown Prosecution service.
