Overview

Allison is an Associate in the Financial Services Group where she is building her business law practice focused on corporate finance.

Prior to rejoining Miller Thomson LLP as an Associate, Allison completed her summer and articling terms at the Firm. During articling, Allison gained valuable experiences in a variety of areas including corporate finance, securitization, mergers and acquisitions, securities, as well as general corporate and commercial matters.

Allison received her J.D. from Queen’s University Faculty of Law in 2023 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024. During law school, Allison competed in the Davies’ Corporate/Securities Law Moot and completed the International Business Law program at the Bader International Study Centre. She also volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, served on the Editorial Board of the Queen’s Law Journal as the Managing Editor of Articles and the Co-Managing Editor of the Style Guide, and participated in the teaching team for Queen’s Certificate in Law Program’s Corporate Law course as a teaching assistant.

Prior to law school, Allison obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in Neuroscience and Psychology while working as a legal assistant for criminal lawyers. Allison’s diverse academic and professional experiences form the foundation of her versatile skill set that allows her to provide high-quality service tailored to every client’s needs.
