Hydro-Québec issues debentures due February 15, 2063 on the Canadian market

On November 17, 2022, Hydro-Quebec announces that it has negotiated on the Canadian domestic market the issue of CA$500,000,000 of Debentures, Series JS, maturing on February 15, 2063. This is the third additional tranche for Series JS initially issued on May 13, 2022, following the second tranche for CA$500,000,000 announced on September 15, 2022, for an aggregate principal amount of CA$2 billion.

The lead manager for this issue is National Bank Financial Inc. with BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and The Toronto-Dominion Bank acting as co-lead managers, Casgrain & Company Limited, CIBC World Markets Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., Laurentian Bank Securities Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc. acting as other managers.

Hydro- Québec is a multibillion dollar public utility company that manages the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in the Canadian province of Quebec.
