Overview

Vivian Olatunji maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. Prior to moving to Canada, Vivian practiced law in Nigeria for 10 years as both an in-house corporate lawyer as well as a litigator working on various civil and commercial litigation matters

During her time as a student at Miller Thomson, Vivian gained valuable insight into construction litigation matters, general civil litigation and commercial litigation, estate law, labour and employment and administrative law.  Vivian has successfully appeared in front of the Court of King’s Bench, Provincial Court, and the Office of Residential Tenancies (ORT) Tribunal.

Vivian received her Bachelor of Laws from Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. She completed the Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation – Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2019.

Prior to starting her legal career with Miller Thomson, Vivian worked as a legal assistant, providing support to experience lawyers in diverse areas of law. Even while working as a legal assistant, lawyers engaged her substantive legal help as a result of her background as a lawyer.

Outside of work, Vivian participate in numerous volunteer initiatives organized by her kids’ extra-curricular clubs. Vivian loves travelling and enjoys spending her free time staying active or hanging out with her kids.
