Vivian is an articling student with Miller Thomson’s Regina office. Prior to moving to Canada, Vivian practiced law in Nigeria for 10 years. Vivian practiced for three years at a Nigerian litigation law firm where she represented clients on various civil and commercial litigation matters. Vivian then worked as an in-house corporate lawyer for seven years where she drafted contracts and agreements, attended mediations, conducted negotiations, and conducted board meetings.
Since coming to Canada in 2017, Vivian worked as a legal assistant where she provided support to experienced lawyers in diverse areas of law and on a wide range of civil litigation and commercial transaction matters, immigration sponsorship appeal hearing matters, and judicial review matters.
Vivian graduated from Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria Faculty of Law in 2006 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. Vivian completed the Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation – Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2019 and the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education’s (CPLED) Practice Readiness Education Program (PREP) in 2021.
Vivian looks forward to building her legal career in Saskatchewan upon completing her articling term with Miller Thomson and becoming a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
