Biography description

Mark Milanetti is a Partner in Miller Thomson’s Corporate, M&A and Securities practice group, where he advises clients on a broad range of corporate transactions. Mark’s practice maintains a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and structuring, and private equity and venture capital transactions, working closely with entrepreneurs, investors, and established businesses to structure and execute strategic deals that drive growth and create value.

Since joining Miller Thomson in 2021, Mark has been a trusted advisor on transactions across diverse industries, bringing practical solutions and a collaborative approach to transactions. His experience spans negotiating complex share and asset acquisitions and divestitures, guiding clients through investment rounds, advising on governance and corporate structuring, and day-to-day commercial matters.

Mark is actively involved in the firm’s community initiatives, including being a member of the United Way and Student Recruitment committees, and maintains strong ties to the legal community through various professional memberships. During law school, Mark was the captain of the University of Ottawa’s Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot team, leading the team to the semi-finals.
