2024 2L Summer Student (Vancouver)
Miller Thomson invites second year law students to apply to our Vancouver summer law student program. For information on our program please visit Summer Student Program.
HOW TO APPLY:
2024 2L Summer Student applications will be accepted through the viDesktop portal, which will open on July 24, 2023 and close on August 30, 2023 or on the date set by your law school.
NOTE: The application deadline may vary by law school. Students who wish to be considered for on-campus interviews (OCIs) must apply by the deadline date set by their school.
When applying, second year law school applicants can submit their cover letter, resume, transcripts of law school, undergraduate and graduate school grades together with a list of anticipated upper year courses.
Interviews for summer positions will be conducted in accordance with the procedures and guidelines of the Vancouver Bar Association.

2024 Summer Recruitment Dates:
- Application Deadline: Wednesday, August 30, 2023 or as set by your law school
- Note: To be considered for OCIs, students are responsible for applying by the deadline date set by their law school
- Intention to Call E-mails: Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 8:00 am PT to Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 8:00 pm PT
- Interview Call Day: Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 8:00 am PT
- Interview Week: Monday, October 23, 2023 – Wednesday, October 25, 2023
- Offer Day: Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 8:00 am PT
