As we approach September, many businesses are feeling challenged to return to safe and economically viable operations, while daily COVID-19 infections rise as Canadians increase their mobility and number of contacts. Further, certain Provincial and Federal government programs and special legislation designed to assist employers and employees are ending or changing.
In the August edition of its Effective Workplace Strategies – The ‘New Normal’ Webinar Series, our Vancouver Labour and Employment Group will provide updates and other advice on the three COVID-19 related themes of this webinar series:
- Occupational health and safety plans, and work refusals (including privacy issues)
- Implementing temporary and permanent changes to staffing levels, compensation and other employment terms; and
- New accommodation obligations and expectations of and for employees.
Ontario: This program is eligible for up to 1.0 Substantive Hour.
Alberta: Consider adding this program to your annual CPD Plan.
British Columbia: 1.0 CPD Hour.
Saskatchewan: 1.0 CPD
Other jurisdictions will be added as they receive approval.
