Overview
Tiana is currently pursuing a law degree at the University of Windsor.
During law school, she has been a member of Pro Bono Students Canada’s Youth ID Clinic, where she assists homeless and marginally housed youth in gaining photo identification and birth certificates. She especially enjoys working with others to facilitate a strong sense of community. She supports the 1L students’ transition into law school as a Social Orientation member, AskLaw member, and peer mentor in Windsor’s Peer Mentorship Program. Additionally, she has served as a research assistant to Professor Hassan Ahmad during her 1L summer. Here, she expanded her knowledge and research skills around tort liability claims against multinational corporations.
Prior to law school, she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Guelph in 2019. During her undergraduate degree, she was a member of the Pre-Law Society where she participated in moots against other Ontario universities.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, painting natural landscapes, and fitness activities such as hiking and yoga.
