Overview

James joins Miller Thomson as a Summer Student after completing his first year of law school at the University of Alberta. During his first year at the Faculty of Law, James volunteered with Student Legal Services, the Law Show Silent Auction Committee, and served as VP Communications with the Law Students for Human Rights Organization.

Prior to attending law school, James obtained his Bachelor of Education degree (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta. While completing his undergraduate degree, James received multiple academic awards and distinctions, including placement on the Dean’s List and the Jason Lang scholarship. After completing his Bachelor of Education degree, James worked as a teacher with the Edmonton Public School Board.

In his spare time, James enjoys playing hockey, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
