Overview

Giovanni completed his law degree at the University of Ottawa.

During law school, Giovanni researched at the intersection of data science and law as a Research Assistant. He served as an Assistant Editor and was re-hired as an Associate Editor for the Ottawa Law Review. In 1L, Giovanni participated in the first-year mooting competition and was a Technoship Fellow. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Giovanni provided technical assistance to professors transitioning to online learning as a Dean’s Technology Fellow. Additionally, Giovanni was a Public Interest Fellowship co-recipient and designed a website to help front-line workers who wish to learn about and advocate for their labour rights.

Giovanni received his graduate degree from McGill University and his undergrad from Wilfrid Laurier University in Political Science.

In his spare time, Giovanni plays squash and golf. He enjoys hiking and camping, cooking comfort food, collecting records, and tossing a football.
