Christine Naycalo is a law clerk in Miller Thomson’s Construction Litigation Group. Christine primarily specializes in Construction Litigation and has experience working in numerous areas of law that include construction litigation, corporate law, real estate law, and landlord and tenant board. She has experience with all aspects of construction litigation including corporate and property searches to verify ownership, preserving liens and perfecting certificate of actions by way of registration in Teraview, drafting of pleadings, motion records, e-discovery, and trial preparation.
Christine recently received a certificate from The Construction Institute of Canada for completing Prompt Payment Best Practices, Invoicing Properly and Preparing Evidence for Adjudication Procedures.
Prior to working in construction litigation, she worked as a corporate law clerk in conducting corporate searches and filing Articles of Incorporation, PPSA, Annual Returns, and Business Registrations.
She expanded her expertise by becoming a real estate law clerk and conducting real estate searches, preparing and registering mortgages, notice of leases, construction liens, certificate of pending litigations, certificate of actions, and investigating complex skip trace by conducting motor vehicle searches and asset searches.
She advanced her legal expertise during her Paralegal program as she attended hearings, mediations, and negotiated settlements at the Landlord and Tenant Tribunals.
