Andrea Raso has joined Miller Thomson’s Vancouver office as a Partner in the Firm’s Labour and Employment group, effective January 26, 2026.
Andrea is an award-winning Canadian labour and employment, and workplace lawyer with extensive advocacy and dispute-resolution experience. She helps organizations address complex workplace challenges that can disrupt culture, operations, and performance. Her approach centers on defining the client’s best achievable outcome and pursuing it pragmatically and efficiently. She has twice appeared successfully before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Andrea was called to the Bars of Ontario, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories. She has been recognized with the Lexpert Zenith Award: Celebrating Leading Women Lawyers and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for diversity and inclusion initiatives. She also holds a Mediation Certificate from UCLA.
