Kaitlin Jagersky is a family law associate offering her clients a range of skills, knowledge and strategies to assist them in moving forward following the breakdown of a relationship or marriage. She understands that every family is unique and works together with her clients from the outset to find an equitable solution that will meet each of their emotional and economic needs. Kaitlin is also child-focused when parenting issues are involved, taking a practical approach to resolving the matter.
Kaitlin represents and advises clients on all areas of family law including issues related to divorce, decision-making responsibility (custody), parenting time (access), mobility matters, child and spousal support and property division. With the support of the Miller Thomson team, Kaitlin also has a broad knowledge base and resources available into other areas of law that intersect with family law, including estates, income, property, tax and corporate/business issues, among others.
Kaitlin is a fierce advocate, with experience representing clients in the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Family Court Branch of the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She also recognizes the significant benefits of resolving family conflict outside of court through the different family dispute resolution services available, such as negotiation, mediation and private arbitration. Kaitlin has extensive knowledge and experience in negotiating and drafting cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts and separation agreements.
