Kaitlin Jagersky is an associate practicing primarily in family law matters. She offers her clients a variety of skills, knowledge and strategies to assist them in moving forward following the breakdown of a relationship or marriage. Kaitlin works to find an equitable solution that will meet each of her client’s emotional and economic needs.
Kaitlin is a strong advocate, with experience representing clients in the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She also recognizes the significant benefits of resolving family conflict through negotiation and collaborative family law as an alternative to court.
Kaitlin practices in all areas of family law as specifically needed for each of her clients including issues of custody, access, child and spousal support and property division.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Kaitlin was practicing general litigation, focusing primarily in family law within the Niagara Region. During her legal studies in Australia, Kaitlin also had the opportunity to work at a national law firm assisting in the civil litigation group, specifically dealing with Worker’s Compensation for local coal miners. She was also volunteering at the University of Newcastle Legal Centre assisting lawyers in various legal matters for low-income clients.
