William Fowlis speaks on « CRA Audit Activity Respecting Trusts – What’s happening, preventive steps and best practices » at an Entrepreneurial Chartered Professional Accountants of Calgary (ECPAC) event.

The presentation will cover the areas of focus of CRA audits of trusts. Suggested best practices and preventive steps that can be taken to avoid an adverse result from these audit activities will also be discussed.

The presentation will include a discussion of the 21-year rule and potential planning, reversionary trusts and many other CRA trust audit focuses. There will also be a discussion of the CRA Audit Plan for Canadian Trusts.
