Olivia Tyrrell

Biography description

Olivia is completing her Juris Doctor at Queen’s Law. Over her time at Queen’s Law, she has worked on the Queen’s Law Journal and is returning in 2026-2027 as the Managing Editor of Submissions.

In her 2L summer, Olivia worked at Queen’s Legal Aid where she assisted clients with matters such as appeals to the Social Benefits Tribunal, applications to the Landlord and Tenant Board, and Small Claims matters.

Prior to law school, Olivia completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a double major in Environmental Science and Psychology at the University of Western Ontario. She received Dean’s List in her undergraduate and entered Queen’s Law as the Alberta Scholar.

In her spare time, Olivia enjoys baking and trying new restaurants. She loves reading and traveling with her family. Olivia was a gymnast and gymnastics coach for many years, and she enjoys staying active and spending time outside in the summer months.
