Maria Munera

Biography description

Maria is excited to return to Miller Thomson as an articling student after joining the firm as a summer student. Maria recently completed her Juris Doctor at Western Law.

Maria served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Canada-United States Law Journal. In addition to her editorial work, Maria actively participated in advocacy competitions, including the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot, where her team received second-place factum honours. She also worked as a legal research assistant, conducting research in international business law, labour law, and human rights law.

Maria received an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Specialization in English Language and Literature, from Western University, where she graduated as class valedictorian.

In her spare time, Maria enjoys yoga, reading literary fiction, knitting, and walks with her dog, Lucas.
