Karen Cao

Biography description

Karen is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Alberta. During her first year of law school, Karen volunteered with Student Legal Services in
the Criminal Law Project and Civil Law Project. She was also elected as a 1L representative and is the incoming Vice-President of Communications for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers

Prior to attending law school, Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, along with a Certificate in Finance, from the University of Alberta. She then worked in banking, where she assisted in investment management.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys travelling, camping, and exploring new trails with her cat, Quinn.
