Biography description
Isabel is completing her JD at Queen’s University. During 2L, Isabel was a Student Caseworker at Queen’s Legal Aid Clinical Litigation Practice where she gained experience in client advocacy, legal research and writing. Isabel appeared before the Superior Court of Justice on various matters and also appeared before the Landlord Tenant Board.
Prior to going to Law School, Isabel earned a B.A. in Law & Society with a Professional Certificate in Public Administration & Law, and graduated summa cum laude from York University. While at York, Isabel was a member of the Dean’s Circle of Student Scholars and served as a Peer Mentor.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Isabel worked at a boutique Family Law Firm, where she assisted on complex family law disputes. This experience contributed to her heightened interest in both litigation and transactional work.
In her spare time, Isabel enjoys traveling, staying active, singing and spending time with her family, friends and her cat, Skittles.
