In an article published in the National Post on June 30, 2016, Susan Manwaring discusses the upcoming launch in Ontario of social impact bonds, a fixed income security which combines a financial return with a social return.
She comments « investors are interested in knowing that their money is having an impact. And they might free up more capital knowing that the way it’s being used is directly having an impact.”
Susan is the National Lead of Miller Thomson’s Social Impact group.
