Ashley Hamza

Biography description

Ashley Hamza is an Associate in Miller Thomson’s Labour and Employment and Commercial Litigation teams.

In her Labour and Employment practice, Ashley assists employers with a broad range of workplace matters, including drafting and reviewing employment agreements, violence and harassment policies, and other employment-related documents. She has also assisted in labour arbitrations. In her civil litigation practice, she assists clients through various stages of disputes, including drafting pleadings and demand letters. She has experience appearing before the Court of King’s Bench in chambers, as well as conducting pre-trial conferences and mediations.

Prior to entering legal practice, Ashley worked as a technical writer and editor and held an administrative management role with a homeowners association. During law school, Ashley was actively involved in the legal community through her work with Pro Bono Students Canada, Student Legal Assistance, The Moot Times, and OUTLaw.

Ashley takes a thoughtful and client-focused approach to her practice, drawing on her diverse professional background to help clients navigate complex workplace and litigation matters.
