Jennifer Bush is building a broad civil litigation practice with an emphasis on commercial disputes. She has represented clients in relation to contractual issues, shareholder disputes, debt recovery, and negligence claims. Jennifer is committed to providing timely, flexible, and cost-effective service and is focused on finding practical solutions to her clients’ legal issues.

Jennifer joined Miller Thomson as a summer student in 2013 and completed her articles at the firm in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked for the Ministry of the Attorney General where she was an advocate for and support to victims of violent crime, helping them through their criminal proceedings. Her past work experience continues to influence her commitment to a client-centred practice.

Jennifer has a passion for pro bono and volunteer work. As a volunteer with the International Human Rights Program, she co-authored a report for the United Nations on women’s property rights in post-conflict countries. She also volunteered with the PBSC’s Envisioning Global LGBT Rights Project. Most recently, she has volunteered at the Ryerson Pro Bono Legal Clinic, providing legal advice and information to students on a variety of issues.
