Mahnoor Khalid

Biography description

Mahnoor earned her law degree from the University of Calgary, where she had also completed a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in Elementary English through the Werklund School of Education. Before pursuing law, she taught Grade 3 and brought her passion for education into her legal studies.

During law school, Mahnoor served as President of the Muslim Law Students’ Association in her third year. She was also actively involved with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked as a Case Worker with Student Legal Assistance, where she provided legal support to low-income individuals.

Outside of her academic and community commitments, Mahnoor is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures. She is also a cricket enthusiast and enjoys reading historical fiction in her free time.
