Madison recently completed her second year of law school at Western Law.
During her first two years at Western Law, Madison worked as a Case Manager for the Western Business Law Clinic where she provided legal services on a wide range of business matters to small and early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs. She was also a council member in Western Law’s first Mindfulness Ambassador Program and helped found the Western Law Mindfulness Society, which aims to promote mental health and wellness within the Western Law community. In her upcoming second year of law school, Madison will continue an ambassador for Setting Precedent at Western Law, a seminar series to help young women start a career in law and to build the necessary skills to break boundaries.
Before starting law school, Madison earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in finance, where she was awarded one of the Lazaridis School of Business top 10 high achievement awards upon graduation. During her undergrad, Madison participated in an academic exchange to Belgium for one semester. She is looking forward to going on an exchange to Università Bocconi in Milan during the Fall semester of her third year of law school.
Madison has held positions in both the public and private sectors and worked with stakeholders in multiple industries. In the summer after her first year of law school, Madison worked as a research assistant for both a former law professor and for a Canadian wealth management company.
Prior to law school, Madison played competitive ringette and volunteered as a ringette coach for many years. Madison has a strong interest in all things health and wellness and in her spare time she can often be found reading up on the latest industry research and testing out new recipes. Madison enjoys watching hockey, spending time with friends and family, solving sudoku puzzles, and all things dark chocolate. Madison also enjoys travelling and exploring each new city she visits in search of the best cafés.
