Aumber Rai

Biography description

Aumber is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Victoria and is actively involved in her law school community. In her first year, Aumber volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and served as Communications Coordinator for the South Asian Law Students Association. In her second year, Aumber worked as an Amicus tutor, assisting first‑year students across various subjects.

Prior to law school, Aumber earned a Bachler of Arts in Sociology with High Distinction. During her undergraduate studies, Aumber was a teacher’s assistant for the Sociology department, and a tutor for the athletics department at the University of British Columbia.

Outside of academic and community involvement, Aumber enjoys travelling, trying new foods, and crocheting. Aumber is also an avid reader who loves discovering new authors.
