On Jan. 15, 2022, following a period of considerable uncertainty, Canada’s federal government moved forward with its plan to impose a COVID-19 vaccination requirement on cross-border truck drivers entering Canada. The new federal rules affect all cross-border truck drivers, regardless of their citizenship status or place of residence, albeit differently.
