Biography description

Jordan is a Juris Doctor candidate in the Class of 2028 at the University of Alberta. Upon entering law school, she was honoured as the recipient of two entrance scholarships. In her first year, she was an active volunteer with Student Legal Services and the Law Show. Jordan seeks out opportunities to contribute meaningfully to her community. Through Student Legal Services, she worked on civil files, and she has also spent three years volunteering with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, helping to reduce barriers to access to the justice system.

Prior to law school, Jordan completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science at the University of Alberta, graduating with First Class Honours. She was awarded the Duncan Alexander MacGibbon Medal in Political Science for achieving the highest distinction in the department. During her undergraduate studies, Jordan completed an honours thesis on gender, nationalism, and hockey, and worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Political Science. She is excited to continue her legal studies and to grow as a legal professional.

In her spare time, Jordan enjoys reading, trivia nights, playing sports, and spending time in nature with friends and family.
