Marlee is a member of Miller Thomson\u2019s Commercial Litigation group, in which she maintains a broad, developing practice. Marlee\u2019s practice includes navigating complex issues arising from commercial and insurance law matters, as well as estate litigation and family law disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before completing her articles at the firm, Marlee articled to Justice Susan L. Bercov at the Alberta Court of King\u2019s Bench and completed a summer placement with the in-house counsel team of a large Edmonton-based construction company. Marlee obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2024, recognized on the Dean\u2019s List.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to joining the firm, Marlee edited for the Alberta Law Review, chaired the Faculty of Law\u2019s Mental Health and Wellness Committee, and was a Writing Fellow for the University of Alberta\u2019s Legal Research and Writing course. Marlee continues to volunteer in the legal community with Pro Bono Alberta, assisting self-represented litigants with civil matters.
