Joshua is responsible for the management and operation of student and junior associate programing across the firm\u2019s Ontario offices. Joshua plays a crucial role in guiding recruitment, in-firm orientation and integration, training and mentorship and performance management of all of the firm\u2019s students and junior associates. He regularly liaises with law schools and the Law Society on student-related requirements and also works closely with the firm\u2019s Partners, Learning Team and other stakeholders on the professional development of the firm\u2019s students and junior associates. Joshua is a member of the firm\u2019s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Committee and is committed to advancing its initiatives. Joshua is also a member of the National Association of Law Placement (NALP).<\/p>\n
Prior to assuming this role, Joshua completed the firm\u2019s Summer and Articling Student Programs, and subsequently practiced as an Associate in the Business Law group in Toronto. With a practice focused on Corporate, M&A and Securities, he assisted clients on various transactions, including public and private acquisitions, equity and debt financings and a number of \u201cgo-public\u201d transactions. Joshua draws on this experience to help guide and support the firm\u2019s students and junior associates with their professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n
