Hannah Rich is a fierce advocate. She has represented clients at the Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court. As an advisor, she is practical and focused on facilitating efficient and favourable resolutions. Hannah represents clients in a wide range of family law disputes, including high net worth divorce, complex property and equalization issues, child and spousal support issues, domestic contracts, and high conflict decision making and parenting time issues.<\/p>\n
Hannah seeks appropriate relief related to property issues, including obtaining expert reports from Certified Business Valuators where required, addressing issues related to the matrimonial home, and dealing with matters that touch upon other areas of the law, including corporate, tax, and estates. She acts for spouses and parents in assessing appropriate support that is owing or owed, including assessing complex income issues and imputation of income, and\u00a0<\/span>drafts cohabitation, marriage, and separation agreements. She also\u00a0acts for parents in disputes concerning major decision making for their children (i.e. extracurricular activities, major medical decisions, religion, and school choice) and in disputes about determining parenting time schedules in a child’s best interests.<\/p>\n Before joining Miller Thomson, Hannah articled and summered at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer where she represented child-clients in high conflict custody and access disputes and worked on some of the leading family law decisions.
