Sandra Enticknap is an estate planning lawyer with many years of experience in estate and incapacity planning, estate litigation, charitable gift planning and related matters. She is also a sought-after speaker on these topics.
Sandra has been named in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory of leading lawyers for Estate & Personal Tax Planning since 2007, and recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for Corporate Law–Non-profit Foundations and Trusts and Estates since 2013. Sandra was also a 2010 nominee for the YWCA Women of Distinction award in the Business & Professions category.
Sandra has been a speaker for Continuing Legal Education, the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners, the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise, Federated Press, the Public Guardian and Trustee, the Society of Notaries Public of BC, the Pacific Business and Law Institute, the Professional Legal Training Course, the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, the Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Estate Planning Council and various community groups on matters related to wills, estates, trusts, charitable gift planning and estate litigation.
She was a member of the Testate Succession Committee of the Succession Law Reform Project, which reviewed all of the succession laws in British Columbia and resulted in legislation revising those laws as of March 31, 2014. She also served on the British Columbia Law Institute Committee which recommended practices for wills practitioners relating to potential undue influence.
Sandra currently serves on the Board of Lions Gate Hospital Foundation where she chairs the Governance Committee, and previously sat on the Board of North Shore Family Services Foundation and the Board of Canadian Association of Gift Planners.
