This informative 45-minute webinar will address the legal issues that every principal faces with respect to meeting the needs of students with special needs. We will review the IEP and IPRC process and parent rights of appeal identified in Regulation 181/98 and identify some of the common and most challenging legal issues encountered with accommodating the special education needs of students with disabilities.
We will also explain how the rights of students with disability related educational needs intersects with their rights under Regulation 181/98, and why more parents are choosing to bring Applications to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
