Miller Thomson’s Vancouver Labour & Employment group hosts a complimentary seminar where we will discuss new and emerging legal issues in employment law relating to:
- Medical and Recreational Marijuana Use;
- Employer Liability for Bad Faith and other Damages from Improper Termination of Employees;
- Obligations and Liability for Independent Contractors; and
- Update in latest changes to the BC Human Rights Code and criminal liability under WorkSafe BC legislation.
The seminar will be followed by a reception where you’ll be able to network with others engaged in managing human resources, and see our new, open concept offices.
