On April 3, 2019, the Government of Ontario released its Self-Assessment Form and accompanying guidance documents for organizations interested in becoming Ontario Health Teams. The first round of Self-Assessment submissions were submitted on May 15, 2019, and on July 17, 2019, the Ministry announced that 31 groups were invited to submit a full Application to become an Ontario Health Team, while another 43 groups were designated as “in development”. The deadline for the second wave of Ontario Health Team Self-Assessments is December 4, 2019. To support organizations across the health sector in the preparation of their Self-Assessment submissions, we will be hosting a reprisal of our Coffee Talk – Health Transformation Tuesday webinar on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. entitled “Ontario Health Team Self-Assessment: Legal Considerations”, presented by Karima Kanani.

The session will cover:

  • Background and Update on Ontario Health Teams
  • Legal Considerations for Each of the 8 Components of the OHT Self-Assessment
  • The OHT Development Process: Looking Forward

This program is eligible for up to 1.0 Substantive Hour of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). Note: Participants intending to claim LSO CPD credits are required to register individually and participate in the live webinar.
