Coffee Talk: Health Transformation Tuesdays Webinar

Karima Kanani | Toronto

( Disponible en anglais seulement )

On June 6, 2019, the Connecting Care Act, 2019 came into force. To date over 150 potential Ontario Health Teams have made Self-Assessment submissions to the Ministry with a second wave of Self-Assessments due in December. The Ministry invited 31 groups to submit full Applications to become an Ontario Health Team, while another 43 groups have been designated as “in development”.

As Ontario Health Teams continue to work through the development process, Members will be asked to engage with a variety of OHT documents including legal documents.

To support health service providers in preparing OHT member agreements, while still balancing individual agency interests, we will be hosting a Coffee Talk – Health Transformation Tuesday webinar on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. entitled “What do I Sign? Legal Documents for Ontario Health Teams”, presented by Karima Kanani.

The session will cover:

  • Ontario Health Teams: Key Features and Updates
  • The Ontario Health Team Development Process
  • Ontario Health Team Agreements: What May I Be Asked to Sign?
  • Role of the Board in Ontario Health Team Documents: Is Governance Approval Required?

This program is eligible for up to 1.0 Substantive Hour of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). Note: Participants intending to claim LSO CPD credits are required to register individually and participate in the live webinar.

Webinar connection details will be provided in advance of the event.
