On June 6, 2019, the Connecting Care Act, 2019 came into force. The Connecting Care Act, 2019 significantly transforms health system structuring in the Province and introduces Integrated Care Delivery Systems, also known as Ontario Health Teams (OHTs). One of the key components of the OHT model is Digital Health.
The OHT Application requires potential OHTs to assess current Digital Health capabilities and propose plans to improve patient access to information and to facilitate data sharing across the continuum of care. To support health care organizations at all stages of OHT development with Digital Health planning, the Miller Thomson Health Industry Group is hosting a Health Transformation Tuesday webinar on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. entitled “Ontario Health Teams: Building Your Digital Health Plan”, presented by Karima Kanani and Kathryn Frelick.

This program is eligible for up to 1.0 Substantive Hour of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). Note: Participants intending to claim LSO CPD credits are required to register individually and participate in the live webinar.
