COVID-19 has placed significant pressure on the ability to deliver in-person care. Health providers across the Province are looking at ways to adapt to alternate models of care using technology.
Virtual Care can be an effective way to deliver services, but there are a number of additional risks and requirements of which providers must be aware.
On April 22, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. we will be hosting a Coffee Talk: Health Industry Seminar Series webinar entitled “Virtual Care: A Legal Checklist”, presented by Karima Kanani and Kathryn Frelick.
This session will cover:

- Overview of Health Professional Requirements
- Discussion of Key Risks and Considerations
- Legal Action Items
This program is eligible for up to 1.0 Substantive Hour of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). Note: Participants intending to claim LSO CPD credits are required to register individually and participate in the live webinar.
