The late Hugh M. Kelly honoured

The Ontario Bar Association’s Charity and Not-for-Profit Law section will honour the late Hugh M. Kelly on May 29 during the AMS/John Hodgson Award Dinner.

Kelly, who was Associate Counsel at Miller Thomson, and had an impressive 50-year legal career advising clients on education, health law, and charitable and not-for-profit organizations matters, passed away in December 2013.

The AMS/John Hodgson Award was created to recognize exceptional contribution and/or achievement in the development of the law; enhancement of the practice of law in the charity arena; and leadership and service in the charitable sector.

The AMS/John Hodgson Award will be presented posthumously at the event.
